We've stayed in many places and among many different settings in this three week tour of Tasmania, Sydney and lovely NZ.  We can say without hesitation that this cottage was the most comfortable, peaceful, restful and luxurious place we've encountered.  It's pretty clear you know how to craft a good sauvignon Blanc too! Thank you for your warmth and hospitality .  We hope to return for a longer stay... and soon!

I’m thrilled and thankful that Wither Hills winery connected me to your heavenly cottages here at Walnut Block!  From the comfortable bed to the perfectly calibrated shower and putting my feet on warm tiles and my body in a warm towel, sipping on excellent coffee – truly a travellers dream.  Heavenly, pastoral, relaxing, dreamy and celestial – I shall not forget laying on the deck taking in the Milky Way on a crisp winter night. Of all the memories of this breathtaking country, it is very plausible that one of the first shall be the amber sunset washing the horizon over your vineyard.  Thank you endlessly for your hospitality in  sharing your corner of NZ with us.  The attention to detail, generosity and beauty of these cottages is unsurpassed and I promise we shall be back.
