Collectables Sauvignon Blanc 2009
4 stars, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Fresh and pure, the nose displays floral, lime zest and subtle herbaceous characters. The palate is lively and well fruited with a juicy mouthfeel and a crisp dry finish. Classically flavoured and easy drinking.
3.5 stars, Winestate Magazine
Priced right, a fresh, vibrantly fruity wine with strong, ripe, tropical fruit flavours showing very good vigour, ripeness and depth, and a crisp, dry finish.

Walnut Block Sauvignon Blanc 2009
4 Stars, Bob Campbell MW

Pungent thiol/passion fruit/box hedge aroma with a pleasing mix of tropical fruit and more herbal flavours. A silken texture and relatively soft acidity offer appeal in this truly dry wine.
4 Stars, Michael Cooper, Winestate Magazine
Still unfolding, single-vineyard, hand-picked wine. Mouthfilling and crisp, fully dry style with strong tropical fruit flavours, a very subtle seasoning of oak, and excellent vibrancy, delicacy and depth. Best 2011.
91pts, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
A delightful Sauvignon showing plenty of ripe passionfruit and feijoa characters with zesty lime notes on the nose. The palate is lively and nicely flavoured with elegant texture and bright acidity. A well balanced and varietal Sauvignon without the aggressive intensity but with complexity and lovely style.  At its best: now to 2012

Walnut Block Pinot Noir 2008
4.5 Stars Michael Cooper MW
The 2008 vintage is full-coloured, mouthfilling and youthful, with ripe cherry, spice and nut flavours showing excellent complexity, texture and length.
90pts www.winefront.com.au -Campbell Mattinson
Fresh, clean, aromatic and enjoyable.  Good, satiny texture too.  Tastes of boysenberries and twigs, sour cherries and (subtle) spicy oak.  Rioe tannin and decent length. Drinks well.  drink 2010 - 2014

Walnut Block Pinot Noir 2007
5 Stars (Winestate Magazine)

5 Stars Michael Cooper (Listener)
Deeply coloured, with concentrated, sweet fruit delights of plums and spices and firm but not austere tannins.  Fragrant, powerful, harmonious and long. Top value.
4.5 stars, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Silver Medal - NZ International  Wine Show

Walnut Block Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc 2006
5 stars, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

The nose is elegant, savoury and complex showing flinty, smoked meat, roasted nut and dried herb characters. The palate is immensely powerful with expansive mouthfeel, seamlessly woven acidity and textured mid palate leading to an amazingly lengthy finish. Not for everyone but a glorious example of alternative style. At its best: now to 2012.
